Obviously, this list is a work in progress until the year has come to an end. As such, the titles listed here are in no particular order. Of course, some titles will be knocked off of this list when the end of the year rolls around - these are just the potential candidates.

The only criteria for making the list was that the movie had to have been released this year (either theatrically or direct-to-video) or it had to have made its American DVD debut this year.
