While out on their rowboat, the gas runs out for their engine. Trying to get back to land, they stumble upon an abandoned yacht. They soon discover it's a biology laboratory due to all the fish and other sea creatures that are kept in a lab room. While the five are eating, they hear a noise coming from the basement of the ship. The two guys go and check it out. They come across bags of cocaine and a chemist that looks to be hiding himself from something. The two bring him above and try to get him to come around. He's foaming at the mouth and bites Dorothy. She then starts to freak out and convinces Mike to bring her home. When they go to the rowboat, it's flooded and the lifeboat has a hole in it. Dorothy eventually passes out and is brought back inside.

Mike and Margaret head over to the lab room to figure out what's going on. He finds out that the fish can live outside of water. Once that's said, one of the fish breaks out of its glass home and bites Margaret. Then the fish starts swimming in the air. Bob and Julie come in the lab. Julie takes Margaret to her room and the two guys try to fight off the fish. Once it's killed, Mike flips out and starts smashing every fish that's in the glass containers. Mike has to check on Margaret, in the meantime, Bob and Julie get with the love making. Mike's back in the lab trying to figure out even more. He finds that the cocaine Bob found is actually contaminated plankton. Bob being the druggie of the bunch, he of course had to take some.

While the love making is going on, Bob is quickly having a gigantic sea creature grow inside him. Julie passes out and Bob high tails it out there when Mike and Margaret run in to see what all the screaming is about. Margaret wakes Julie as Mike gives chase to Bob. Julie comes to an doesn't remember anything that happened. Then the three run into Bob as his normal self, not a creature. Mike and Julie figure they are flipping out and go to get a drink. Margaret hits to bathroom only to get attacked by one of Bob's octopus tentacles. Bob comes to her rescue and they try to get off the ship. When trying to wake up Dorothy, she too turns into a creature and attacks Bob. Julie got pregnant from Bob and started laying fish eggs. Leaving only Bob, Julie and the chemist.

There was very few creatures through out this entire film. A total of five, if that. There was only one of them that was satisfactory and that was the one that was growing out of Bob. The final product wasn't all that great, but during the growing process, very nice. The one fish that was swimming in air looked ridiculous. Not only the fish itself, but when it was swimming too. It looked like it was filmed swimming in a small tank and the water was edited it out. Bob's creature (when he was completely transformed) was claymation. So you only saw him when he was by himself.

The audio dubbing was very odd. It was like some of the time they would talk in english, then their next line would be in Italian with a really bad voice over. The script didn't help the actors out too much. Thankfully the plot had a little decency to it, the story too. A lot got explained. Like how the cocaine they found was really plankton, how the fish were developed into killers and so on. Surprisingly enough, the movie keeps you interested since the creatures are built up in the story quite a bit. It would have been tons better with more creatures or at least had the few look really awesome.

Final Conclusion: 5/10
