When you hear the word "Jackass" in a trailer or see it on a poster at your local cinema, there is one thing that sets it apart from every other movie title that comes along with it; You will always know what to expect. Jackass Number Two, much like it's predecessor, is just a 90 minute version of the TV show that made the that one word so famous. That said, you should be warned if you thought they pushed the limits with the first movie, because some of this stuff is shockingly horrible.

Jackass Number Two has probably a bigger market now than when the show arrived, thanks to the explosion of websites devoted to showing these videos of idiots doing stunts for free. But what Jackass brings to the table is elegance. While I loved the show and applauded how much effort went into some of the stunts, there are things in this movie that still amaze how creative they can be. I mean, if you can sit through a video of watching a midget bungee jump off a bridge with the other end tied to a fat man without laughing, then you must be made of stone. I think the fact that there is no plot really helps, and it's just one clip after another. You aren't forced to watch cheesy set-ups for the stunts, you just watch. Whichever way you look at it, Dickhouse Studios really do know how to target their audience.

The cast of the film is essentially the same as the last. All the favorites are back; Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Danger Ehren, Ryan Dunn, Wee Man and Dave England fill up the crew. If you've seen the show or the first movie, you won't need an introduction. If you haven't, then these are your personal stunt-men for the movie. Several stunts such as blindfolded bull-rushing, penis-shaped brands being placed on the butt, fire hose rodeo. They are all incredibly stupid. But that's why they are funny to me. They make me laugh because it's just stupid, and no sane person would do these things to themselves. Like I said before though, this movie does take it one step further. I'd love to talk about them a bit more, but I do want to leave some of it a surprise for the viewer. Needless to say, there is more male-nudity, and even a few full frontal shots. Sure, some stunts are more overwhelming than others, but that depends on your threshold. There's a nice variety of stunts, from ingenious and funny to down-right wrong (For example, a beer funnel inserted in a certain part of Steve-O's body... try to guess which one!).

Yes, Jackass appeals to a nation of goofy idiots just like it's stars. But if you see this movie knowing full well this isn't your favorite drink, then you should be in this class of people too. Any movie which features a warning label on the front of the DVD explaining to people to not try to re-attempt the stunts in it clearly explains it's target audience. The kind of people who'd rather laugh at their friend's in agony rather than helping them out. Lord knows I've done it before. The truth is I enjoy watching people in pain, people who do it for the sake of my enjoyment, and I know other people do too. There wouldn't even be a second movie if they didn't! Creator Spike Jonze sure has hit the goldmine with this low-budget movie, and obviously is aware that everyone wants to see this kind of material. This movie is meant to deliver 90 minutes of the peak of inhuman activity for the sole purpose of making people laugh. Also, once again there is a grand ending to top off what you just watched, featuring a Broadway-style dance routine and the Jackass crew. Overall, you will know if you want to see this movie, and if you are one of us who are easily entertained by dumb humour, it's not even worth rating it. You will know what to expect and you will probably laugh until your eyes water. 9/10.

I feel the same way about the sequel as I did about the original and I haven't even see it yet. They are the same film I am sure. This kind of humor does nothing for me, but evidently there is a large following out there. So, I won't give it a rating since I've never seen it.

Better than the first, in my humble opinion, and I literally have a headache right now from laughing so hard. 10/10.
