The Midnight Meat Train

I'm glad you wrote this, otherwise I wouldn't have
even realized it came out (haven't seen a trailer
since I saw Rambo back in January, and then it was
set for release in May). I'll be off to see it
tonight, luckily a theater near me is showing it-
I'm sure it'll be awesome

Ghostbusters II

glad to see some others like it, most people i
know won't even watch the 2nd one, claiming it to
be one of the "unfunniest" movies ever.

I don't know anyone who DOESN'T love this movie.

Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull

I'm glad to see someone else who has my thoughts,
I went to the midnight screening, and being the
only Indiana Jones movie I've gotten to see in
theaters, I was extremely happy I got to see it.

Hard Candy

i heard about this about a month before it was
released in a theater that was about an hour drive
from where i live, and i sadly never got to see it
in theaters, but luckily it was released on video.
not to copy, but once again, same thing as above-
although at first i didn't like the ending much,
then after watching it a second time it just
seemed more fitting (something about it the first
time just seemed off to me). i'm more than happy
though to have caught it on video myself.

Dawn Of The Dead

This is one of those remakes that has people on
both far ends of the whole positive and negative
spectrum. Obviously, and it's typical or most
remakes, it doesn't live up to the original, and I
would've liked them to have had the bikers
breaking into the mall. Probably 5/10 is the
highest rating I'd give it.

Versus
|

I saw this movie quite awhile back, after hearing
a lot of fairly positive reviews. I liked it to an
extent, probably what would be no more than a
6/10. Maybe it was a taste thing, but the movie
didn't really keep my interest completely through
it, and I think its runtime could've been trimmed
down at least 20 minutes or so. Like everyone has
said before, there were some well shot action
sequences, and some good gore, but in the end I
guess I actually did want a bit more of a story.

The Hitcher

Loved the flick, but it definitely doesn't need to
be remade, it's perfectly fine as is- nothing we
have nowadays that we didn't have back in 1986
could help this film, since it has no real need
for special effects. If remade, I'd hate to have
to be the one to live up to Rutger Hauer, I don't
think it can be done. On a last note, loved that
french fry part.

The Frighteners

One of the first horror films I saw (although it
obviously isn't totally horror). I liked it
myself- also, if I remember correctly, all the
special effects were done on location in New
Zealand where it was shot (apparently the best
special effects ever done outside of a studio).
Nonetheless, definitely a great film.
