A Serbian Film
A Serbian Film This movie was brutal in every way. I am a young father and some scenes I saw will stay with me as long as I walk this earth. I cannot unsee what i saw, and sometimes I wish I did. Nevertheless, the movie is actually good. Acting, production value, score, ... it was all there. I think this can be considered as art, but that does not mean it's the f*cking Mona Lisa. It is brutal, discusting and it takes you on a descent into hell unlike any other film has ever done. Before this movie I considered stuff like 'Lucker the Necrophagus' and 'Necromantics' to be peaces of extreme cinema. After seeing a Serbian Movie with my friend (If I would have watched it with my girlfriend I think a single man would be writing this comment) these other movies look like SnowWhite. A SM was a genuin experience, a true event. I never want to see this movie again. Beware... 9/10

Martyrs
Martyrs This movie was amazing. It grabbed your nuts right from the beginning and did not let go. Did not gave me a good night sleep. This piece of work was Horror with a capital 'H'. Thought provoking, brutal, well acted, good scenario and an ending that still haunts. 9/10. Not for the squeemish.

SpiderBabe
SpiderBabe One of the worst movies I saw in years. Did not even finish this one till the end. The acting was bad (misty's performance was not really bad, but still...), the 'special effects' were non existent. I mean, even the erotic scenes where annoying and boring as hell. Or you have sex, or you don't, there is no in between.
Bad bad bad movie. NOt even funny to watch drunk. I will never watch another Misty Mundae movie in my life.

Sleepaway Camp
Sleepaway Camp This movie was funny. I'm not so much into slashers, but this one I enjoyed. The gore is ok, but limited. The characters are hillarious. Their clothers, haircut. It was of course the dark '80s. I still can't believe people actually dressed like that and got away with it (did they?).
The ending is way out there. Disturbing and funny.

Pontypool
Pontypool very intelligent en new take on the zombie genre. Some serious scary moments. Reminded me a little bit of 'The Signal'. Overall, Pontypool is a very good and intelligent zombie movie. Loved it 8/10

Blindness
Blindness Just saw this one yesterday. Rented it from our library. I read the book a couple of years ago, so I knew what was comming. The movie is good, but the book is better (how cliché this might be, in this case it is true). This says more about the book then about the movie. It's OK. The acting is OK and the overall weird, sometimes fairytale-like atmosphere of the book was, good for us, picked up by the director. Good attempt. The different layers that are present in the book also get lost a little bit in the movie. That's a shame, but still it was a good attempt. Not the easiest book to transport to movie. Considering the Hollywood-factor , the director could have done a lot worse.
6/10

The Driller Killer
The Driller Killer Guess that's true. Trial and Error.

The Driller Killer
The Driller Killer So, tell me, if there are VideoNasties that are worse, wich ones? So I can avoid them.

The Driller Killer
The Driller Killer Didn't like it at all. One of the worst video nasties i've seen so far. Tony Coca Cola and the Roosters is also the worst band ever.

Poultrygeist: Night Of The Chicken Dead
Poultrygeist: Night Of The Chicken Dead It was ok, but I didn't like the fact that they sang ALL THE TIME. I like horror movies, but I really don't like musicals (Cannibal was OK, but still, it was a musical). Honestly, it put me out of my buzz. The idea was good, but I expected it to be better. Nevertheless I like the 'reel independence' philosofy and anarchic humor.

Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull
Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull Worst movie ever. I am a big big fan of the previous movies. I loved every one of them and saw them to many time to be considered a cool guy... But this. First of all, he turned my favorite hero of all time (I wanted to bé Indiana Jones. I am 31 right now, and I still want to be him) into a CIA-cop!!!!!!!! That's the wordt kind! Bad storyline, bad everything. Spielberg and Lucas raped my all time hero, they took something from me and can never give it back. Even I feel violated...

Hell Of The Living Dead
Hell Of The Living Dead Loved this one. I agree, the movie is overall a mess. Mattei doesn't really pull of anything completely, but still he entertained me. The movie is funny without wanting to be, but never gets boring. Some beers, some friends, some weed, and you got yourself a nice evening. Thank you Bruno!

Automaton Transfusion
Automaton Transfusion Just saw this one last night with my comrade. I bought it almost a year ago, but I kept it for the right moment. I fucking LOVED this movie. Don't understand the bad comments. Acting was average, I really saw worse (Midnight Skater, Meat Market, Video Violence, ...) , the gore was good. OK, there was no storyline worth mentionning, but it was such a good effort, such a nice try, for me, I give it a big 7/10. Recommended for gorehounds and zombifans.

The Horde
The Horde This was a good one, very much so. Weird was how the characters, from one point, had serious dept and emotions. The drama is real and you can sorta relate to the characters, from an emotional point of view, all the way through the film. On the other hand they reminded me of David Warbeck's character in The Beyond, because like 'ol David, the thugs and coppers from La Horde never seem to realise for more than 20 seconds that shooting them through the head does the trick. They loose a lot of ammo on useless shots in the arms and gut, which makes them look kinda stupid and Bmovie-ish, and La Horde is not a Bmovie. But still. Last french zombi movie I saw was Revenge of the Living Dead Girls .... La Horde is way better, of course. Decent zombi movie, not very original, but I liked it very very much 8/10

Survival Of The Dead
Survival Of The Dead This movie was just really bad. A real dissapointment, becaus I'm a big fan (exept for Land) .
Poor acting, awful story (what's up with the twins?), no scares or athmosphere. Fusion with western theme prooved also a bad move.
George, what happend man? Where did you go wrong? Now go back to the drawing board and make us a good zombie movie, god know I've been waiting a long time for one...
