There Will Be Blood
There Will Be Blood 3/10. I must have missed something in translation. I had to fight to stay awake as I found the whole movie minus the bowling alley scene to be one huge bore

Nekromantik
Nekromantik This is getting the super duper deluxe treatment from both Cult Epics & Arrow. The Arrow release has more stuff, and is obviously more expensive, but I still lean to the limited Cult Epics release. Personal preference.

Fear In The Night
Fear In The Night DeForest Kelley. I'm an old school star trek fan and it was fun to watch him play something else. And very young too.

Godzilla vs. Megalon
Godzilla vs. Megalon I wonder if they'll EVER release "Godzilla 1985" on DVD.

King Kong vs. Godzilla
King Kong vs. Godzilla 385, why would you recommend the Japanese version over the U.S.? I always thought reading the subtitles would take a way from watching the action on the screen. Also, aren't the dubbed versions "funnier"? I have both versions of most of the movies, but was just curious about your opinion because I've only watched U.S. versions.

Gamera Legacy Collection
Gamera Legacy Collection Yes, it takes up a lot less room, that's why I'm bummed that it doesn't have the dubbed option. Gamera vs. Guiron is the only one I saw as a kid, so I guess I could get the Shout Factory version of that one if I really wanted the dubbed version of it bad enough.

The Brides Of Dracula
The Brides Of Dracula feel better?
Posted by Bill Wolford on April 1, 2014
The Brides Of Dracula
The Brides Of Dracula Obviously you can't read. Belittling the films title was a separate statement from what your "opinion" of the film was. you want the last word then? I like tristans review. I don't like your opinion of the film. Like it or not. Go ahead now, take that last word.

The Brides Of Dracula
The Brides Of Dracula His opinion is 10/10, I agree. You state your opinion as fact, and not opinion. And you belittle the films title? Grasping at straws.

The Brides Of Dracula
The Brides Of Dracula I'd like to read your review then 385, instead of just bashing someone else's

Horno
Horno When you rent or go out to the movies, your one basic reason is to be entertained. You want to have a good time, and you want to be able to feel that it was time and money well spent. Every once in a while though you find a film that is so bad, so boring, and so idiotic on every level that you make it your mission to tell everyone you know to stay far, far away from it. To spare them the money and time that you wasted in agony on it. Horno is one of those films. This film is so bad, that if you see it, you might remember it longer than your favorite film simply because if someone ever mentions it, you want to be ready to warn them to stay far away or they will become scarred like you did from viewing it.

Every type of sad excuse for a joke falls flat. Every sight gag is terrible. Everyone's acting skills are across the board horrible. This is the type of movie that hurts your head. The type of movie that "bad movie" lovers watch over and over again while drunk. If thats your way to be entertained, then so be it. I am not a lover of bad movies. I want to be entertained. Sometimes I am entertained by what others consider bad movies. This however, is beyond bottom of the barrel painful. The movie runs 50 minutes. Less than an episode of your favorite T.V. show. Yet, it still seems like it drags on. This film has been called tasteless and offensive by others. That's giving it way too much credit. It's just a complete waste of time. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this.

Mad Monster Party
Mad Monster Party I guess I'll just always be a big kid! Loved this flick growing up, and still find it a good watch today. Nostalgia isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I'm fond of it.

Alien 2: On Earth
Alien 2: On Earth The Midnight Legacy collection has since ceased operations after just this one release. Maybe someday they'll return, but I doubt it. The collectable aspect of this release may be gone, but it was still an excellent transfer of an obscure horror film.

My Name Is Earl: Season 1
My Name Is Earl: Season 1 I wouldn't be too harsh with it. There was supposed to be another season of it that didn't get picked up by the network & when they shopped it to other networks it didn't happen there either. So you get left with what ended the last season, but more was supposed to be on the way. Look up the show on wikipedia, it has the whole story.

The Sandman
The Sandman I think J.R. Bookwalter may have been a "one hit wonder" with his The Dead Next Door Film. He's had a smaller budget each time out, and the stinkers keep coming.

Zombie Apocalypse
Zombie Apocalypse cool. I wonder how the other one is, since this is asylums "rip-off" of it. Be kinda funny to finally see an asylum rip-off be better than the original!
Posted by Bill Wolford on April 23, 2012
Zombie Apocalypse
Zombie Apocalypse if you notice, there's a little 2012 above the title. That's how the Asylum studio re-titled THEIR release to be different than another film called Zombie Apocalypse. They sure are sneaky, but I got it anyway. Ving makes anything watchable.

Children Of The Corn that could be true.

Children Of The Corn
Children Of The Corn and they need to stop trying to sell these DVD's with that uncut & uncensored bullshit. What was in this film that had to be censored or cut in any previous version that didn't exist before it on DVD?

Children Of The Corn
Children Of The Corn "McClure's performance wasn't the problem, it was Vicky. I understand the two had fallen apart, but she was just so hostile here; it was too much." This is what ruined the movie for me. I grew up with the short story & original movie, and this to me was just a borefest, and that whiny bitch vicky could have been killed in the first 10 minutes by her husband as far as I was concerned. I have this because I have all the rest (Except the newest one, which is being reviewed now).

Day Of The Dead
Day Of The Dead I've found that trying what everyone else likes & hating what everyone else hates is a disaster. I just try to do as much research on the film I might be interested in as possible. Case in point; I knew some people who were singing the praises of giallo films, so I grabbed about 30-40 of them & dug in. About 25 of those are now in the garbage or traded in for stuff I know I'll like. This film was all right for me personally. I shut of my brain completely & didn't even think about the original Day of The Dead, and I wasted 90 minutes pretty good. I might even re-watch it sometime. I'd give it around a 2-4 out of 10, because I've realized that I have to be kind of forgiving when I can't enjoy every type of thriller/horror/giallo/etc. that comes down the line, if I can shut off my brain & reasoning powers for 90 mins I can like a lower level zombie film like this (Day of the Dead 2: Contagion falls under this as well).

Children Of The Corn: Revelation
Children Of The Corn: Revelation yeah, what a waste of Michael Ironside. By the time this movie rolled around I felt they just threw a few stalks of corn here & there to make a reference to the title, because the movie bears no resemblance at all to the first film, and there are no ties to it. This same thing happened to the Hellraiser franchise. It got so that a 30 second clip of pinhead near the end of the movie qualified it as a Hellraiser sequel. As much as some people hated the Saw franchise, at least there was a continuing story thread to tie the films together. The only movie worse than this one is the remake in my opinion. I haven't watched the latest sequel yet, although I own it.

Potnah
Potnah Sorry about your hardships. The review is based solely upon the movie, and even with this information it cannot alter the review. It would, however, have made an interesting extra to tell the story behind the film on the DVD somewhere, then it could have been relevant as part of the review. Maybe if you get the chance to reissue the disc, you can tell your story, as people love to hear what goes on behind the making of a film, and it's not all just as easy as some people might make it out to be.

Potnah
Potnah well, reviews are just one persons opinion you know. Everyone has different opinions. Remember too, a review is not about the maker of the film, but the film itself. I do wish you the best of luck and hope you keep making movies for as long as you are able.

Day Of The Dead 2: Contagium
Day Of The Dead 2: Contagium I must be the only one who willingly owns a copy of this movie? And I'm pretty sure the only one who found it a decent time-waster? Watch a month or two of nothing but releases by brain damage films, then come back to this....you might find something decent about it.

Cat People 10/10 for me. One of the first R-Rated movies I saw at the drive-in back in the day. So it has a soft spot in my heart.

The Driller Killer
The Driller Killer that's the fun of exploring the video nasties. What you might hate, I might like. Driller killer is a case in point. If you hated this one, and remember that the Evil Dead was a video nasty, there's quite a gap between the good & the bad. But you have to find out for yourself. Look up video nasties on google or find trailers on you tube. You might be able to get enough of an idea from watching them.

The Driller Killer
The Driller Killer Andy, this is actually one of the better video nasties as the critics say, and I agree. You need to watch more of them. I'm not saying you'll like this movie any better afterward, but I am saying you'll appreciate it more compared to the other nasties out there.

The Call Of Cthulhu
The Call Of Cthulhu I always think that the HUGE monster near the end of Stephen Kings' The Mist film would have worked well as a Cthulhu type monster. Something that strikes terror into you from the sheer size of it. I know these people didn't have the budget for that, but I can wish.

Super 8
Super 8 It was explained during the movie that the monster absorbed the memories of those people it touched. It touched the old black guy when he was trying to feed it. He was also the boys science teacher. So the monster had memories of the boys science teacher, and knew it wouldn't hurt it, nor try to. It was ready to go home anyway, the kid was trying to rescue the girl he liked......blah, blah....I've explained enough, if you don't like it AttnDefDis, me explaining the whole movie won't change your mind.

Needful Things
Needful Things I saw this on TV one time with (I believe) about an hours worth of extra footage. Don't ask me to swear on this, but there has to be a mention of it somewhere on the internet. Or at worst, I had a bad trip that day.
