What's better than amateur Asian girls punching and kicking it out in the nude? They are mostly untrained... That's what makes it even sexier! Naked Asian women fighting. Really, do I even need to finish writing this review after those four simple words? Well, I happen to believe so, because even though Brawling Chicks: Asian Import technically delivers what the title promises, the overall package certainly detracts from its overall value.
To kick things off, let's take a look at what we get out of this package, shall we? Naked Asian women fighting, and by fighting, I don't mean those silly little fluff-fighting videos that other companies enjoy putting out. These women really go at it, and for about an hour and change, you'll get to watch these women slap the shit out of each other, pull each other's hair, and... well, slap the shit out of each other and pull each other's hair. There's not a whole lot of variety here, but I do give the producers points for putting out a disc featuring legit fights, even if it isn't exactly on par with the latest UFC PPV's. However, what they may be lacking in athletic prowess is more than made up for by the fact that the competitors almost always manage to wind up nude by the time the fights finish. The ladies do start out wearing clothes (usually miniskirts, tank-tops, and thongs), but the clothes just so happen to wind up on the floor as the fights move along in what I'm sure was just a bunch of convenient accidents.
The fights are one-on-one affairs, and there doesn't seem to be any rules in place; they simply fight until the cameraman decides to stop filming, or in some cases, until one of the ladies has proudly straddled the other's face. There's nothing to connect these fights and there's certainly no grand prize for winning (though I'm sure they were paid well once the cameras stopped rolling), so really, what you see is what you get.
I'm fairly certain that these women were just amateurs picked off the streets for the video, but it does give brief introductions for each of the ladies, so maybe those who are more loyal to this sort of thing will recognize a name or two. With that in mind, the fights go a little something like this:

8. Ping vs Mahina

Alright, so with that out of the way, what went wrong with this video? Well, let me preface my complaints by saying that I'm well aware that there are guys (and maybe even some gals) who get off on this sort of thing and purchase it for spank-material. I am not one of those, as I simply watch because I'm amused by this sort of thing - it's sort of like watching one of those cheerleader catfights that happened every now and then back in high school, only, the women here are naked. I thought I knew what I was getting into when I picked this up, and I thought I knew what to expect out of the running time, but sadly, I was mistaken.
You see, instead of simply showing us the fights, the producers seemed more interested in showing off the various effects filters found in whatever movie-making program that they had handy. By that, I mean that we'll watch about ten seconds of the fight, and we'll then get to see the next five seconds shot in slow motion with a blaring metal soundtrack, or in high speed with a techno soundtrack, or in negative colors, or in reverse, or with a flaming backdrop, or... well, you get the point. Honestly, I don't see what they thought they were accomplishing here; I watched this for entertainment and the decision to proceed like this killed any hope of me enjoying this, but if I happened to be one of those guys who picked it up for masturbation material, I don't see how watching it with trippy colors while listening to heavy metal would "help me along," if you catch my drift.
Aiding my annoyment was the fact that the fights rarely went to their conclusion: the women will be going at it, and out of the blue, we'll just cut away and start up the next one. Again, I realize that these aren't exactly UFC-caliber fights and it doesn't really matter who the winners are, but still, this was highly annoying.
My advice? Skip it, regardless of whatever reason you'd consider picking something like this up for. Trust me, when I can't make a recommendation for a DVD consisting of nothing but naked Asian woman fighting, you know something is wrong... and that "something" just so happens to be the idiots who decided to insert all of those "neat" effects. 3/10.
