Elvira runs her own TV show, hosting old crappy movies. The boss of the station wants some beaver-pie, and Elvira turns him down. He starts bitching and moaning, and she quits her job. Her reason for quitting, you see, was that she had a Vegas show lined up in the near future, which would be paying her buckets of money. After quitting her job, her manager tells her that in order to get the Vegas gig, she has to put up an exorbinate amount of money as a precaution, which she doesn't have. Life is not good for ol' Elvira. Soon after, her aunt dies, leaving her a house in a mostly yuppie neighborhood, which she just wants to sell to get the cash. That will not do either, as it requires loads of fixing up. So she enlists the help of some neighborhood kids, and the parents frown heavily upon that. Some discoveries are made in the house, and then starts the fun.
Quite the good movie going on right here. Elvira is always great in her role, and always hot in her getup. Funny, Cassandra (the actress) isn't all that great, but when she dons the wig and the clothes, she turns into instant hotness. Some of the humour is a bit dated in places, but it still works out great.
Good for a pickup if you want a nice comedy. 8/10

10/10 This is one of my favorite movies.
Cassandra Peterson is brilliant in or out of
costume. There is nobody else like her. Plus, I
love the cheese factor and all of the cameos.
It's really pretty hilarious, if you like that
kind of humor.
