A young man on a motorcycle passes a pretty young girl on the road whose car has broken down. He stops and offers her a ride home, and she accepts. It turns out that she lives in a brothel run by her mother, and they offer the young man a job--to have sex with all of the hookers who live in the house. --IMDb

With all of the Grindhouse discussions going on lately, I thought that it might be a good idea to dive in to the upcoming "rare and forgotten grindhouse collection"... better known as Secret Key's Skin in the Sixties collection. People typically think of horror films when referencing the grindhouse films of the sixties and seventies, but many forget that sexploitation was just as popular if not even more so; sure, it may not be remembered quite as fondly, but who wants to discuss the good old days of jerking off in a booth while watching 8 mm nudie loops? This collection presents three films from the era, starting with this one: Uschi Digard in The Madam.

Plot? Well, there is technically one to be found here, but keep in mind that this is a sexploitation piece and they're not exactly known for award-winning scripts. It begins when a young man named John notices a young lady (Uschi) having car troubles on the side of the road, so he pulls his motorcycle over to pick her up and takes her back to her house. It turns out that this motorcycle-riding hippie is homeless and is looking for a place to stay, and since this young lady who introduces herself as Sissy owes him a favor, it doesn't take long before he's found a room to call his own. However, this house isn't just any old small-town dwelling; it's a high-traffic brothel run by Sissy's mom, and that should tell you everything that you need to know about the plot.

The big selling point of the film is that it features an appearance by a very young Uschi Digard, who had to have been around nineteen or twenty during the shoot. Uschi, for those not in the know, is famous for two things - both of which reside under her bra - and she gets plenty of time to "shine" in this film. There's a couple of other ladies who also show up to turn a couple of tricks, the most noticeable being a young lady with a damned fine body... and a gap-toothed grin to die for. It's a softcore affair, of course; you'll see plenty of everything that makes up the female body (and plenty of the male organ as well), but there's no actual penetration to be seen. It's about as close as one could get to hardcore without actually being hardcore though, so that'll either be a selling point or a disappointment depending on your personal stance.

Overall though, it's a long-lost Uschi Digard film; what more do you really want from it? The Skin in the Sixties collection comes with this film and two others (L'amour de Femme and Take Them as They Are) along with a nifty mini-documentary featuring grindhouse / sleaze historian 42nd Street Pete, so if this is the sort of thing that you're into, you'll definitely enjoy this package. 7/10.
