In the other half of the "Mulva: Zombie Ass Kicker! / Filthy McNasty" double feature, we find Liz and Julie, two geeky outcasts out their high school. They both want to fit in, be popular, and go to Max's upcoming party, but being the geeks they are, they're laughed at when they ask if they can attend. Another outcast, Julien, approaches them with an offer of summoning the demon Phil, who can turn them into extremely hot ladies. They take him up on the offer, and wake up the next morning as, well, extremely hot ladies. They go to school and talk to the guys who had shunned them just yesterday, and things have changed... they're now more than welcome to attend the party. Things couldn't be better for the pair, until Phil comes to Liz in a dream and tells her that he'll be killing off all of the men at the party, and fucking all the ladies. Oh, the horror!
This was another low budget production, with quite the short running-time; it only lasted for forty-five minutes. But that was more than enough time to throw in some very funny lines and events, including some scenes that really define the "Gross-Out Comedy" label. Forget watching a guy stick his dick in a pie, this movie includes a scene of a guy using his own shit to masturbate with... and it's shown in all its graphic glory. Then we have Phil, the demon, fucking a girl in her eye-socket, leaving a gaping wound when he's done. There's plenty more similar scenes, all done in a hilarious fashion, so if they sound like something that would be humorous to you, then you'd definitely enjoy this film.
The acting in this film was actually better than I would have expected after watching Mulva. There definitely wasn't any award-winning performances, but things weren't too bad either. Debbie Rochon and Miss Kitty respectively play Julie and Liz, and both do a good enough job with their roles and lines. The preppy folks from the school come off as being extremely annoying, which is what they were going for... so I'd suppose that's a job well done from them. The stars of the film, though, were definitely Teen Ape ("as himself", says the credits) and Demon Phil (Tim Ekkebus, who also played Julien). Both of those guys were beyond great in their scenes, and when they got together for some back and forth conversating around the end, things just got even better.
Overall, both movies on this disc are worth the viewing if you enjoy some off-the-wall comedy and don't mind low production values. The budgets for these films couldn't have been more than a few hundred dollars each, and it really shows in the effects departments... but there's some great humor to be found in both films. 7/10 on this one, as well.
