Lothar Schramm had a little mishap while painting his apartment as he stood on a ladder. Now dying in a large pool of paint and his own blood, he starts remembering his last days on earth, along with several other miscellaneous happenings. A pair of Christians come to visit him on their quest for introducing people to Jesus. He lets them in and brings them something to drink. On his second trip from the kitchen, he slices the throat of the male and then beats the female's head in with a hammer. Now remembering back before that murder, his next door neighbor, Marianne, asks him if he'll take her to a job she has been offered to do and then wait for her outside.

Marianne's a whore and the job she was offered is going to pay off really well, but the only way she'll do it is if he tags along and waits for her. Schramm's job is driving a taxi, which made the plan possible. After he drops her off, he falls asleep in the car. Dreams start to forum as he's shown running in a marathon. After awhile, he's waking up in a dentist's chair as the dentist rips out one of his teeth. The dentist finds another flaw on him, then starts to cut out one of his eyes. Then he wakes up in his bed to find that his leg has been chopped off and laying right next to him if the decapitated leg.

He wakes up for the last time when Marianne arrives back at the car. For helping her out, she decides to buy him dinner. During the meal, she asks him if he would be able to drive her to the mansion and wait for her once again. He agrees. They go back to his house for a few drinks. Schramm drugs her, takes off her clothes when she falls asleep, takes some pictures, then has sex with her. When she awakes in the morning, he tells her that he didn't want to disturb her sleep since she looked so tired. Not knowing that anything happened to her, she headed back home to get ready for the day.

Not too long after, he's visited by the Christians. Which is when he kills them. He has a bucket of white paint he's covered the walls with since there's blood all over them. His prosthetic leg comes loose and falls off. He loses his balance on the ladder and comes crashing down. While he listens to Marianne knock on his door repeatedly, he thinks back to when he was a child and when him and his mother would play out on the beach.

A very unflinching look into the mind of a serial killer. Lothar seems like a very nice man. He helps out his neighbors and is very kind to any visitors, which end up making him a good serial killer. Marianne's job sometimes has her customers come to her. With a pipe leading from her apartment to Lothar's, he's able to hear all of the moaning and other sexual sounds. After hearing her moan from others for so long, he starts to desire her more and more every day. But having established a relationship with her, the only way he would ever be able to have sex with her would be to drug her, which he did.

Lots of bodily mutilations through out the film. One of the best being when Lothar found himself in the kitchen hammering nails into his foreskin. The realistic touch it had was almost frightening. His decapitated leg was also very looking. The dentist cutting out his eye wasn't very realistic, but it was still very nice looking. There was also a monstrous vagina that would show up in his bed and in his bathroom drawer. The center was a clitoris that had disgusting teeth, with arms and legs attached to it. A very odd piece of work. The entire film was well put together. One of the more original looks at a non-existing serial killer.

Final Conclusion: 8/10
