A local arcade, Dante's Inferno, gets a new game in for a bit of testing. Our local kids decide to test it out, and find out that it's incredibly realistic; almost too realistic. Kids start getting addicted to it, playing more and more, and end up losing their souls to it. It's up to our heroine to put a stop to all this madness, but in order to beat it, she has to play it...
Not too bad, not too great. The storyline was pretty good, I did enjoy that, but there was just too many holes in the plot, and a lot of the twists were rather lame. The scene with her mother was very excellent, however; very well done.
The effects were quite nice... considering this movie was made 11 years ago, they did a good job envisioning the future of games, since the game on there looks shockingly similar to Quake 3 in layout. But the main baddie..... ugh on that. Nice twist ending, though.
5/10

Wow, I loved this movie. I can't find it on sale
anywhere though. But I'm a HUGE Full Moon fan and
this is one of their greatest Sci-Fi movies. I
give this one 7.9/10. It's still better than "War
of the Worlds" with Tom Cruise.
