Hot and heavy hijinks abound as a group of horny college students conspire to help their uptight roommate Georgia (Tanya Tickler!) lose her "flaming" virginity, as they like to refer to it. They think they have found the perfect guy to deflower Georgia. But can this perfect guy keep his mind off food long enough to pop Georgia's cherry?
The Collegiates is one of the four adult films in the Collegiates Feature Film Collection, all of which were directed by Carter Stevens. If the other movies in this collection are anything like The Collegiates, I won't mind diving into them as I found this to be a pretty erotic and sexy time that sort of reminded me of The Seduction of Misty Mundae in that it's a coming-of-age sex film. Though it's not quite as good as that, because it has less story and character development. And no Misty Mundae.
The Collegiates came out in the 70's, and it actually had a plot unlike most of the adult films of today. And it's a pretty good plot, too. Sure, we know that Georgia is going to lose her virginity in the last scene of the movie, but the fun is getting there. While Georgia is a virgin, all of her college friends, including two roommates, seem to be allergic to clothes. They are all fucking like rabbits, so to speak. But that doesn't mean Georgia isn't "getting off", as we aren't long into the movie before we see her masturbating in her bed in one of the hottest scenes of the movie.
And some of the dialogue early on is funny, and some of it is good. And the acting for the most part is adequate. Harry Reems (Deep Throat) is especially good as Lexington, the Lothario who has his way with pretty much every woman in the cast. And while a lot of pornos from the 80's and 90's had cheesy music playing during the sex scenes, and a lot of today's porn doesn't even have music, I found the music in this movie to be quite good.
And another thing that The Collegiates had that most of today's adult films don't have is natural bush. And that was pretty hot to see. Everyone is natural, the way God intended. And the breasts are natural too.
A lot of today's porn movies are two or three hours long, like anyone can last that long. At only 58 minutes long, The Collegiates didn't waste too much of my time and it held my interest (among other things) for most of its run time. I give it a 7/10.
