Since the early days of cinema, horror movies have mined the fear of ghosts and hauntings with cinematic tales of things that go bump in the night. This collection presents a trio of classic ghost stories guaranteed to elicit thrills and chills: in TORMENTED (1960), an impending bridegroom is haunted by the ghost of an ex-girlfriend whom he failed to save from death; in NIGHTMARE CASTLE (1965), a mad scientist tortures his unfaithful wife and her lover to death only to have them return from the grave for revenge; and in THE SPIRIT HUNTER (2004), a recently deceased young man is unaware of his own demise and exists in a purgatory of ghostliness.
